Michele showed a sincere interest in regional netball associations during her time as state President and was always supportive of umpiring development as she herself was an AA badge and past member of  IFNA (International Federation of Netball Association).

Michele passed away on 28 December 2008 following a massive stroke and her funeral will be held at Caloundra, Tuesday 6 January at 11.00am.

I know the netball fraternity will support each other and those who personally knew Michele during this sad time.
