DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS Retail stores generate the vast majority of revenue for Big Dogs. Currently there are 167 stores across the United States that are owned and operated by Big Dogs. Each store is designed to enhance the Big Dogs brand by using creative themes in d�cor and displays, and floor plans that maximize sales by making shopping both straightforward and fun for customers. All of our stores emphasize the Quality, Value, Fun aspects of our brand, differentiating Big Dogs� stores from all other mall tenants and making a memorable shopping experience for our customers. In addition to our stores, Big Dogs also sells through mail order and internet channels that have proven to be successful sales and brand-building tool for the company. Before the Snappers arrived in town in 1982, the only professional baseball team in Beloit was a team affiliated with the old Class D Wisconsin Association in 1905. The Beloit Snappers were a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers from when the club joined the Midwest League in 1982 until the end of the 2004 season. The team was known as the Beloit Brewers (named after the parent club) through the 1994 season, when the club name then changed to the Snappers. Our story began when three individuals from very different professional backgrounds were brought together by their shared passion for diamond sports and desire to produce a better bat. This passion goes back many years, but it was in 1996 that we manufactured our first model in a private labeling venture for another bat company. In 1999, we designed and produced our first multi-wall bat featuring our patented Power-Arch Technology. After development was completed, the company it was designed for underwent a major upheaval and delayed the bat’s release. Benson Stone Company was established in Rockford, Illinois, in 1930 by Martin O. Benson, a Swedish immigrant, and his son, M. Howard Benson. The company is now a fourth generation family business. In the beginning, the company was primarily a cut stone fabrication facility producing Indiana limestone building stone. Since that time, the company's product offerings have expanded to include furniture and home décor, all types of building and landscaping stone and brick, granite and marble, fireplaces, barbecue grills, and gift items. In 2001, the company moved into its current location at 1100 Eleventh Street in Rockford. The new office and showroom are housed in the former Rockford Standard Furniture factory.
