MATCH @ LOBO's CALCELLED TONIGHT
LOBOS's have contacted me. Lake Orion has closed their parks and tonight's match is cancelled. I'll be in touch with their coach as soon as I can to reschedule. Also Adams is under water so no practice tonight either.
Meanwhile, Sunday's match at Eastpointe has now been rescheduled for 8 May ay 10:00 (9:15 field time). That means it is another double header for us. We'll have a 2:00 match at home that day as well.
Having been doing this since '87 I can definitely tell you from experience that spring season can end definitely end up being very erratic because of the short regular season coupled with the fates of the whether. And that's what we're dealing with now. It can be frustrating if you let it get to you… so don't let it get to you. We're all Michiganders, so we know what the deal is. That's just the way of things in spring in Michigan. It's necessary for us all to understand that this is the nature of the beast and be flexible and do the best we can.
So, as it stands, we have 1 of 3 postponements now sorted (Eastpointe) and 2 matches left to reschedule (LOBO's & Grosse Pointe), so I'll be on that and let you know asap when those are set.
I appreciate all your hard work and the welcome I have felt since having come on board the last few weeks. You girls are doing a very good job, and I know you will keep it up. See you tomorrow at training.

COLD COLD GROUND - 23 April 2005
It was crazy cold today for a soccer match. But we played anyhow. Coach Megan did the honors today so I'll have to get all the information from her. Game details to follow.
But it was cold - that detail I know.
