CONGRATULATIONS 2009 TEAMS
CONGRATULATIONS 14U & 16U ROADRUNNERS FOR A SUCCESSFUL SEASON!!!
Unfortunately, our 2009 season has come to an end. It was fun traveling around the state to compete in various tournaments and face teams we hadn't seen before. The girls displayed how talented they are and the coaches did a fantastic job preparing them for battle. Thank you to all of the parents & families who supported us this year... it's all of you who make it possible for our daughters to play at a higher level.
Good luck to the players who are continuing on to play Fall Ball !! Be safe & we all look forward to seeing eachother again next year. Happy Holidays

Thank You to Mike & Alicia Quismondo for organizing & hosting the tournament. It was a lot of fun as usual & mark your calendars for the next Poker Nite on May 30, 2009. So players should start now getting their poker players to sponsor them because the seating is limited & fills up real fast. The Quismondo's have offered to organize & host it at their home again. ANNUAL CRABFEED A SUCCESS!
Our annual crabfeed fundraiser held on February 13th was a success. We sold every seat & had over 300 guests. The place was packed!! As always, the food was excellent - we want to thank Tony & kitchen staff at the Italian Athletic Club for preparing such a delicious meal. All of the players did an outstanding job serving their tables & keeping their guests happy. They all worked together under the direction of Coach Jose - who worked in the kitchen making sure the food went out quickly & we didn't see him until the dinner was done. We want to thank our DJ, Santos Duenas (a co-worker of mine) for volunteering his time at our event. He worked together w/ Kelsey Coria on the music & player introduction .... which was a great idea! They made it work w/ the limited space we had to work with. Also, thank you to Madison Wray & Taylor Brink for creating the pix slide show that played during the player introductions and announcements.
Overall, the event was so much fun! The following people helped make it happen =
Jose Coria - Food Organization
Rosenda Coria - Ticket Sales & Seating Arrangments
Marie Castellon & Stephanie Brink - Raffle Organization
Marie Castellon & Tina Stewart - Raffle Setup & Drawing
Cyndi Torris & Jennifer Maloney - Front Door
Jana Smith & Laurie Oglesby - Cake Serve
All of the players for selling so many raffle tix!!!
Congratulations to everyone in the Roadrunner Organization for your help in making this crabfeed a huge success.
Players, Parents, Family & Friends "THANK YOU!" for your continued support.
--Rosenda
