It looks like I am the first of the old timers. Our team 1955-56 was one of the first in the city league. Take a look at the Mercury of 1956, page 65. Riverside was still called EAST at that time. I hope the rest of the team can find this site.

Wow! I played baseballl @ Riverside from 1976-1977 and something as cool as this website was beyond our wildest imagination! Glad to see the alma mater is doing well and still playing the game of baseball!

| Hey guys, I just wanted to say tough loss to King. I am really gonna miss the players and fans. It is a shame that something so "great" can come to an end after ONE bad decision. Oh well, I guess thats life. Next year is a new season and everone starts with a "clean slate". |

Congrats to all of the Tigers who made the honor roll. Im sorry that I let the team down, but I will try really hard to become eligible for the remainder of the season. GO TIGERS!
