Riverside Hockey Club: History

The Riverside Hockey Club has qualified for the State Club Hockey tournament.  The Buckeye Cup tournament is scheduled to begin Friday, March 11 at Akron/Canton and Wooster rinks.  Congratulations and good luck.

CONGRATULATIONS RIVERSIDE HOCKEY

              ON A GREAT SEASON

The following 2010-11 Riverside hockey players will be playing in the NCHSHL All-Star Game on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 1 p.m. at Hoover Arena (Strongsville):

Trey Hopkins, Michael Branem, Alex Boyes, Dale Montgomery and Justin Cahill.

Congratulations to Trey Hopkins nominated for League MVP by the coaching staff.   The league awards will be announced at the All-Star game. 

Riverside Hockey will again have a summer team that will play in the Cleveland Lumberjacks Hockey Club's 2011 High School Summer Program. 

Games will be Monday thru Friday evenings and Sundays.  No Saturday games.  All teams will play a 10-game schedule.

Games will be played at multiple arenas:  Ice Land, Winterhurst, Cleveland Heights, Mentor and Kent.

Games will begin the week of Sunday, June 12th. 

Based on 18 skaters and goalies, the cost is: $140 players, $70 goalies.

 Included in the cost are two practice sessions at Gilmour Ice Rink, tentatively the week of June 6th.

Summer Drills-n-Skills

Presented by Riverside Hockey Club in association with Ohio Hockey Academy 

What:    Eight summer skating skill sessions under the guidance of Ohio Hockey Academy’s professional staff, including 11-year NHL Pro Mike Wilson.  Sessions are for players entering 9^th - 12^th grades.

Dates:  Tuesdays -June 14, 21, 28, 2011 ~~ July 12, 19, 26, 2011 ~~ August 2, 9, 2011

Times:     8:30 – 9:30pm

Where:    Mentor Civic Ice Arena

Cost:        15-19 players  –  $25 per session   - $180 for all 8 sessions       

                  20 players or more –  $20 per session  - $135 for all 8 sessions
