2009-10 SEASON REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Mark your calendars as Riverside Hockey Club Tryouts are scheduled at the Mentor Ice Arena for the following dates:
> Monday, October 5 - 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. PLAYER/PARENT MEETING
8 p.m.
> Tuesday, October 6 – 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.
> Wednesday, October 7 – 9:30 - 10:30 p.m.
> Thursday, October 8 – 9:30 - 10:30 p.m.

SPIRIT NIGHT AT CHICK-FIL-A
Riverside Hockey Club invites you to Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A in Mentor (near Target) on Thursday, October 29 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. You will need to bring this invitation to the Chick-fil-A store and a portion of your sale will be donated to Riverside Hockey. Click on handouts to print invitation.

Congratulations go out to Jordan Sintic and Colten Siedlarczyk who will be playing for Kent State and Robert Stolz who will be playing for Wesleyan University.

NORTH COAST HIGH SCHOOL HOCKEY LEAGUE
The Riverside Hockey Club joined the newly formed hockey league, The North Coast High School Hockey League. There are 11 other teams also in the league--Brecksville, Brush, Gilmour Varsity B, Holy Name, Jackson, Medina, Mooney-Ursuline, Nordonia, North Royalton, Villa Angela St. Joseph, and Walsh Jesuit. The teams will play 10 league games and will have their playoffs the first week of February. The possibility of state playoffs involving club leagues from Columbus and Dayton/Cincinnati is also being discussed. This is a great oppportunity for those teams not belonging to a league so that their teams can be involved in standings/playoffs/etc. and have a structured protocol on code of conduct/rules/etc. The club league will have academic eligibility standards.
