THE WINNER IS?
NAME CHANGE!

Due to voting tampering, the Board felt to be fair that we take a revote.  The Board took the top 3 names, Bulldogs, Vikings and Trojans.  The Board voted and the “CENTRAL VALLEY TROJANS” won!

We will have a newly designed web page and we will let everyone know once it is posted.   We will decide in January what our colors will be. Thank you to everyone who stuck by the Redskins over the years.  We hope this new change will make positive steps for the growth of the organization.

CHAIN OF COMMAND

Redskins Parents/Guardians,

The Redskins have initiated a new chain of command this year in regards to filing complaints/concerns regarding your child’s activities during practice or games. We made these changes to help keep harmony and have a more family orientated environment for everyone. If you have a complaint/concern you need to take it to the Team Mom first. If Team Mom is not able to help you, go to a Board Member. At no time are you allowed to confront the Coach(s). Remember that Coaches are here volunteering their time, with no compensation, to teach your child the fundamentals of Football, Good Sportsmanship and Teamwork. We have made changes to playing time, for regular season play, in this year’s Redskins bylaws to keep playing time fair to all children, please contact a Board Member for clarification. These changes do not pertain to preseason or postseason play.

Delta bylaws state that the use of profanity is prohibited and will be enforced by our Board Members. Use of such language can have you ejected from the playing/practice field. Please do not jeopardize your chance to watch you child play/practice.

We are also asking that you keep your personal family issues at home and not bring them to the field and/or involve a child. Help us keep this a fun, family orientated environment.

If you would like to make a positive change in a child’s life, pick up a Coaching Application for the 2009 Season or become a 2009 Board Member.

We thank you for your assistance and we hope to have a pleasant and rewarding season.
