Nov 16 Ability Meet Sign up
There will be a sign up sheet at the rink starting today for the Nov 16 (7:45 - 12:45) ability meet at Max Bell.  The cost of the meet is $10.00 per skater.  Please sign up by Thursday Nov 6. Also, there will be a skate sharpening clinic Thursday Nov 6 at 6:30 at the rink.

Skate Sharpening Clinic.

Bill Gendron will do a skate sharpening clinic for parents and any skaters during 3rd ice on Nov 6 at 6:30 at River Heights Arena.  It will take place in the change room .

An introduction to the various officiating roles, at a speed skating race.  A great way to stay involved!  Learn the rules and regulations of speed skating!     
    When: Tuesday November 4
    What Time: Two sessions, 4:30 and 6:30
    Duration: 30 to 45 minutes
    Where: River Heights Community Centre, Room TBA
    Cost: Free
    Registration: No registration needed, just pick the session that works for you.

Fall Classic in Regina Nov 7,8 & 9

Deadline for Fall Classic Competition is Thursday, October 30th at Noon. Don’t forget to include your 2 waivers for the SASSA.

Hotel Rooms have been blocked at the Travelodge. Two queen sized bed non smoking rooms at a rate of $105.95 per night plus taxes. To see more about the hotel www.travelodgeregina.com. There is a waterslide and pool. Contact the MSSA office by Thursday, October 30th.

A bus is booked to transport athletes and spectators to the Fall Classic Competition. The cost per participant is $50.00 each and spectators are $80.00 each. To reserve your seat on the bus please contact the MSSA office by Thursday, October 30th.

You may pay with one cheque for the registration and bus fees.

    The Manitoba Speed Skating Association would like to take this oppounity to welcome our newly elected executive members:

    Returning members of the MSSA Executive are:
