Comments:
- DOMINATING: The Rattlers of Reagn continue to dominate in the San Antonio area and District 26-5A. Reagan has the most complete "TEAM" in the city from top to bottom and continue to display overall team contribution in every win. In a big win over Lee last week, every single Rattler scored in route to victory.
This week for Reagan:
1/11 vs MacArthur; 1/13 vs Madison

- IN SEARCH OF A CHALLENGE: With 4 weeks remaining in the season, Brennan's numbers and point margins continue to look impressive. Not to jinx the Bears, but it looks like Brennan will not see a challenge until the Regional tournament and a possible match against the best in District 28-4A (Victoria East or Floresville).
This week for Brennan: 1/9 vs Uvalde; 1/13 @ McCollum

- 10-STRAIGHT: The Stevens Falcons have won ten straight games and are dominating District 27-5A. An upset loss to Brandeis early in the season played a major part in the previous rankings of the Falcons; however, the current 10-game win streak and all District wins by an average of 20+ points, have the Falcons on the rise.
This week for Stevens: 1/9 vs Marshall; 1/13 vs Brandeis

- ROCKETS ARE READY:  The Judson Rockets are the least talked about team in the city but have been one of the best. Quietly but surely the Rockets are rising and ready to win District 25-5A. The way things have played out this season have many believing that Judson will win the district. Friday's matchup @ Wagner will be a good test for the Rockets and their title chances.
This week for Judson: 1/10 @ New Braunfels; 1/13 @ Wagner

- TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT:  There have been a few bumps in the Johnson path the past 3 weeks, including a near loss to an unranked opponent.  The Jaguars will face Churchill this Friday in a District 26-5A match up of 2nd place teams. It's hard to predict how the Jags will fair against this game but we shall wait and see.
This week for Johnson: 1/10 vs Roosevelt; 1/13 vs Churchill

- PERFECT TIMING:  In their district opening win over Wagner, the Knights of Steele looked like their preseason expectations. It took some time for the Knights to gel and find their groove, but they have peaked at the right time and may climb to the top of the rankings in due time.
This week for Steele: 1/10 @ San Marcos; 1/13 vs Seguin

- DON't COUNT THEM OUT:  The Wagner T-Birds suffered there first district loss in years but will still be in the mix for the district title. Wagner suffered a major loss not too long ago in Kiara Rivera(2012), but Ashley Ross(2014) has been cleared and will be an impact for the T-Birds. Of course Ross will not be 100% anytime this season, but an 80% Ashley Ross is still a huge midseason addition for any team.
This week for Wagner: 1/10 vs Seguin; 1/13 vs Judson

This week for the rest:
Churchill - 1/10 vs Madison; 1/13 vs Johnson
Floresville - 1/10 vs Victoria West; 1/13 @ Beeville Jones
Champion - 1/9 @ Harlandale
