RIVER CITY HOOP SCOOP: Club Teams

San Antonio area girls basketball is growing and is on the verge of becoming a basketball hot bed. Every year new club teams are formed, well-known teams cease operations, several teams lose players to college, less profile teams build a reputation, youth clubs advance to the varsity level, several players move from one club to another, and some clubs manage to stay at the top of the National Elite Club Level. 

Several teams call themselves an "Elite" team, but only a couple of teams in the SA area have earned National recognition and compete at the "Elite" Level nationally. Some clubs even have feeder teams that compete in elementary, middle school and jv age divisions.
