Rico has been a member of the Chicago River Bandits since 2000, taking the 2001 season off. Member of the 2002 MSL Central League Championship team. Rico played his first season with the Collegian River Bandits in 2000. In 15 games Rico hit .429, with a .714 Slugging-Percentage & lead the team with a .579 On-Base-Percentage. Elected to the 2003 MSL Central League All-Star team. Member of the 2004 Citrus Classic team in West Palm Beach Florida. In 2004 moved to the AAA MSL Federal Champion River Bandits.
