Today the second Mountain Pass League Meet was held at Noble Creek Park in Beaumont. High was around 93 degrees with some good ol fashioned Beaumont wind at sometimes in excess of 20 MPH. Times were a little slower than the first meet, but the results held true.
 
Beaumont's Boys and Girls JV teams won impressively. On the girls side, Beaumont won with 16 points compared to Hemet's 64 and West Valley's 80. On the boys side, Beaumont won with a 19 compared to Hemet's 39 and San Jacinto's 87.
 
On the Varsity side, results were also similar to last time. On the girls side, the three way battle turned out the same way as last time. San Jacinto was able to hold off Beaumont once again 42-47. Beaumont had 3 before San Jacinto's #1 came in, but San Jacinto then put 6 in before Beaumont's #4! Hemet continued to be strong led by a race win by Taylore Cantu in 19:21 and a team total of 63.
 
On the Boys side, Beaumont continued to show their dominance by having the first 4 runners across the finish line. Led by Doug Palmer and a 16:03 effort, Beaumont scored 19 points followed by Hemet with 39. IN the battle for the third CIF spot, San Jacinto and West Valley continued their battle with West Valley beating SJ by a 95-102 score on the day.
