Corona's boys did not seem effected by the heat or the 30 minute delay while they impressed with a 27 point scoring. They ended with a nice 53 second scoring gap. ML King's did not have two of their top seven, but junior Lane Werley finished up with a nice victory over Corona's trio of Cuevas, Gauger and Cerda. Santiago's boys impressed as they were led by freshman Robert Lopez. On the girls' side, ML King's girls came to play putting their 7th girl right there in front of Corona's #3. Senior Kelsi Tippets ran away from the pack midway through the race while junior Hannah Peterson outlasted the pack that half mile. Very impressive depth as they finished with a 61 seconds gap between #1 and #7. Definately a sign of why ML King's girls are ranked #5 in CIF.
