With several of our best squads pulling the trigger at the 2009 Fastback Shootout, we saw complete dominance by the girls from Great Oak!  They easily ran the fastest team time of the day (no team scoring) and set the new met course record by averaging 12:15 for their top five!  (This equates out to under a 95 minute team time on the regular course)  Katie Johnson almost set a new course record with her easy victory in the junior race.   Murrieta Valley's girls impressed and definately looked strong by their combined scoring 2nd place finish.  Corona's girls finished 5th overall, team time and combined scoring. 

Corona's boys walked away with the 2nd fastest team time while Great Oak finished right on their heals in 3rd!  BUT....  Great Oak beats Corona when in a combined scoring format.  Woodcrest Christian also proved why they are the #1 team in California for Division V.
