On the first day of competition of the 61st Mt. SAC Reebok Invitational, Woodcrest Christian's boys raced to a new Division V Mt. SAC course record in 80:25! They shattered their own previous record by almost 40 seconds, eight seconds a boy! Senior Jake Jeanson laid down the gauntlet with an easy 15:16 victory, but followed by his own two teammates at 2nd and 3rd! Their girls also won, and actually, it was easier as they put all seven girls in the top 14!
We'll highlight more when we find time. But conditions were cooler than expected as it was dry, but not in the mid-90's like some predicted. Divisions I and II go at it tomorrow....stay tuned as we'll work to update the website as soon as possible (but six hours today and nine hours tomorrow will leave us dead...)
