The music has been turned off and the 2008 Rockin' Rubidoux Invitational is in the books! There were 375 finishers at this years events and 192 medals handed out. The weather cooperated and the music charged up the runners. The course was a flat campus course of 3.0 miles that began with a lap on the track in Rubidoux's new $7 million dollar studium and then continued to tour the campus before returning for a final 3/4 lap finish on the track. Rialto senior Yesenia Trujillo was the Girl's Rockstar of the Meet with the fastest time of the day, 19:17. La Sierra senior Jared Drinkard took home the Boy's Rockstar of the Meet plaque with a time of 16:07.
