The New England Tennis Umpires Association (NETUA) exists to provide knowledgeable, skilled, certified officials for amateur and professional tournaments throughout New England. Governed by a volunteer Executive Board elected by the membership, the Association conducts classroom and on-court clinics to educate its members in all aspects of tennis officiating. By continuously improving the officiating skills of its members, NETUA meets the needs for tennis officials within the New England section and creates opportunities for its members beyond New England.
The Executive Board and other volunteers perform the work of the Association. Thanks to annual grants from the United States Tennis Association and USTA New England to offset training expenses, NETUA is financially self-sufficient. NETUA members serve on sectional committees, and the president of the NETUA represents New England on the USTA's National Officials Committee.

Professional Tennis Registry is a non-profit international certification, education and membership service organization for teaching professionals and coaches. We welcome your application and association with PTR.
At PTR, we aim to give you a maximum of benefits for the most affordable fees. The fee described in the list below includes your certification test, Teaching Essentials DVD to prepare for certification, PTR portfolio, magazine subscriptions, annual membership dues and processing fee.
Professional Tennis Registry has launched a new program to encourage high school and college students to consider a career in tennis teaching and coaching. PTR on Campus makes PTR certification and membership available and affordable to full time college students who are playing for varsity tennis, competing in USA Team Tennis on Campus, are majoring in Recreation, or who were high school tennis players with 4.0 NTRP.
There is a huge void in the number of younger people teaching tennis today, said Dan Santorum, PTRs CEO. PTR on Campus addresses this issue and will help ensure a younger generation of tennis teaching professionals will continue to grow the game.
In an effort to grow the game, college students are offered the opportunity to learn to teach tennis, obtain liability insurance and maintain PTR membership at prices most students can afford. In exchange, students are asked to give back to their communities by providing 10 hours of free tennis lessons. Through the education provided by the PTR on Campus program, students who teach tennis can help pay their tuition, supplement their income, or save for the future. In addition, they will be prepared for a full or part-time career in tennis if they so choose.
