Rhode Island Rays Baseball 2010 Season Highlights! 

Rhode Island Rays Baseball Club:  The Rhode Island Rays Baseball Club had five teams participating in the East Coast National Tournament at Baseball Heaven in Long Island, New York.  Collectively, as a group, they finished 14-5 in tournament play.  The 11U Americans captured the East Coast National Tournament Championship and the 12U Americans finished as East Coast National Tournament Runner Ups.  For the 2010 season, the Rhode Island Rays Baseball Teams finished with an exceptional record of 162-43 (.791).  Besides winning several tournaments during the year, their two 12 Year Old Teams captured the New England Regional Championships in the Super & Open Divisions in June.   

12U American:  The 12U Americans, who did not give up a run en route to a 3-0 record in Pool Play, lost to the Long Island Prospects in the East Coast National Championship.  The RI Rays 12U American team, the 2010 New England Super Division Champions, finished their season with a respectable 31-11 seasonal record.  

12U National:  The 12U Nationals completed Pool Play with a 2-1 record.  In three games played, they scored 24 runs and allowed 14 runs.  The RI Rays 12U National team, the 2010 New England Open Division Champions, finished their season with a remarkable 41-5 seasonal record.

11U American:  The 11U Americans, who completed Pool Play with a 3-0  record, defeated the RI Red Sox in the East Coast National Championship, 6-4.  The RI Rays 11U American team completed their season with a sensational 41-4 seasonal record.    

11U National:  The 11U Nationals completed Pool Play with a record of 1-2.  They completed the 2010 season with a 29-10 overall record. 

10U Rays:  The 10U Rays completed Pool Play with a 2-1 record.  They completed the 2010 season with a 20-13 overall record. 

12U AMERICAN 31-11 (New England Regional - Super Division Champions)

12U NATIONAL 41-5  (New England Regional - Open Division Champions)

11U AMERICAN 41-4 (East Coast National Champion) 

11U NATIONAL 29-10 (2010 Overall Record)
