Ripon Chiefs: Post-Game Meeting and Trash Pick-Up Policy

Dear Ripon Chiefs Parents:

Post-Game Meeting and Trash Pick-Up Policy - Effective Immediately:

All Coaches will have their Post-Game Meeting with players / cheerleaders on the field (home or away) and parents/fans are not allowed on the field unless they have a Coaches Badge.

After the Post-Game Meeting between coaches and players / cheerleaders for Home Games, both players and cheerleaders are required to participate in picking up trash. This trash detail should take no longer than approximately 15 minutes.

At Home Games, Coaches will dismiss their players/cheerleaders to parents ONLY AFTER PLAYERS / CHEERLEADERS HAVE SIGNED A FORM PROVIDED BY THEIR COACHES THAT THEY HAVE COMPLETED THE COACHES' TRASH DETAIL.

If a player or cheerleader fails or refuses to participate in trash pick-up, and does not sign off with his or her coach prior to being released from the Post-Game Meeting, that player will not be permitted to play in the following game unless prior arrangements have been made with the coach for that player or cheerleader.

2009 - New League Rule
Football players must practice at least two days in a week to be eligible to play in the game on Saturday.  The initial practice schedule is five days a week, which will be adjusted down to Tues, Wed, and Thurs after a few weeks.  When Ripon Unified School District announces its 2009-2010 school calendar, the Chiefs practice schedule will be adjusted for one week only during the Fall Break and be held on Wed, Thu, and Fri.  Accordingly, parents must remember that if a player does not attend at least two of those practice days, whether or not the player is away on vacation, he will not be eligible to play in the Saturday game that follows.
