RIDLEY 13s WIN WHITEMARSH TOURN WITH 3 POINTER 41-39
The Ridley Jr ABA 13 year old girls travel team defeated Paoli in grand fashion sweeping their 4 games in the annual Plymouth Whitemarsh Hot Hoops Tournament. Alexis Zambino (9 points) hit her third 3-pointer of the game with 13 seconds to go to propel Ridley to a 41-39 win after trailing 39-37 and overcoming a 12 point 1st half deficit. The team rallied defensively in the second half holding Paoli to 12 points after trailing 27-17 at the half. Marissa Most and Gina McLaughlin scored 14 and 12 points each in the memorable comeback. The team also defeated Springfield of Montgomery County 65-32, Whitemarsh 43-16 and Upper Dublin 39-24.

2003 CHAMPIONS! DEL VAL 14A TEAM
The Ridley 14 U girls A team won the Del Val championship over Springfield 45-31. The teams stifling man defense and 22 press was too much for Springfield to handle. Leading 20-9 at half, the ABA stuttered for a short stretch early in the second half and then cruised to victory for their first ever ABA Del Val A girls championship. Lindsey Garraty had 14 points and Michelle Dubois had 10 to lead all scorers. Coach Tony Zambino was blessed with the ultimate 'cigar' game from his kids!
