About Richmond Little League

Founded in 1960, Richmond Little League is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing organized baseball to the youth of Richmond and Madison County.

Little League Baseball is a program of service to the youth. It is geared to provide an outlet of healthful activity and training under good leadership in the atmosphere of wholesome community participation. The movement is dedicated to helping children become good and decent citizens. It inspires them with a goal and enriches their lives towards the day when they must take their places in the world. It establishes the values of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play.

2015 Spring LATE Sign Ups

To sign up or be placed on the waiting list for the Spring Season please send an email to richmondlittleleague@gmail.com.  Please email your name and contact phone #, players Name and age/appropriate division.  Someone will be in contact with you to either do a late signup or advise the player has been placed on the waiting list if there are no open spots for the appropriate age division 

League Ages As of April 30, 2015:

Senior 13-16, Major 11-12, Minor 9-10, Coach Pitch 8-9, Rookie CP 6-7, Tee 5-6, Wee 4-5 

 **An additional sign up date for Senior League will be on Sunday, March 8 at the Little League office from 2:00 to 3:00 without a late fee. SENIOR LEAGUE GAMES will begin in May at the end of the middle school baseball season (May 16 -July 3).

Other Information:

  • Anyone interested in umpiring or keeping score should contact Rick Miller at 859-528-7138.
  • Tentative Spring Season Dates: April 11 - June 20
  • The 2015 Little League Yearbook, which includes schedules, rosters, and additonal information will be provided to each manager by April 11.
  • Fundraising by each team will be completed prior to shirts and hats being given to the team
  • If you are interested in sponsoring a team, advertising in the program book, or purchasing a sign for the ball fields, contact Sommer Cook at 859-576-4657.

Lost & Found items

Throughout the season, many people lose and find all types of items at the park. We have a Lost & Found container at the concession stand. Please stop by and ask a staff member for assistance. If you find something, please take it to the Concession stand.

If you find something after hours or when the Concession stand is closed, it would be greatly appreciated if you would drop the item off at Parks & Rec on Second Street or bring it back when the Concession stand is open. You can also Email the League at
richmondlittleleague@gmail.com and notify us of your found or lost item. We'll try to assist as much as possible
Please label all of your baseball equipment (gloves, bats, bat bags, hats). It can help us notify you if it is found
