The Madison County Youth Football League serves Richmond, Berea and all other communities of Madison County.  We are here to promote the development of the youth in our community in the sport of football by teaching fundamentals as well as influencing good sportsmanship, teamwork and high morals.  We are an affiliate of American Youth Football which is the largest youth football organization in the world and also an affiliate of City of Richmond Parks and Recreation.  MCYFL is open to youth ages 5-11.  We play our games at Kiwanis Football Field at Lake Reba.

SAT., MAY 19TH, 10AM - 4 PM

SUN., MAY 20TH, 1PM - 4PM

Cost:  Flag - $65.00

Junior & Senior Tackle - $85.00

APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE HANDOUTS SECTION OF THIS WEBSITE.  PLEASE SEND YOUR APPLICATION, COPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE, CURRENT YEAR'S PHYSICAL (if available) & PAYMENT.  

APPLICATIONS SHOULD BE MAILED TO:  MCYFL, P.O. BOX 429, RICHMOND, KY. 40476-0429. 

Flag Division:  5 & 6 yr. olds - A child who is 7 yrs. old but weighs under 50 lbs. as weighed by a board member may play in Flag Division.

Junior Tackle Division:  7 & 8 yr. olds - A child who is 9 yrs. old but weighs under 70 lbs. as weighed by a board member may play in Junior Tackle Division.

Senior Tackle Division:  9 - 11 yr. olds - Players cannot play middle school football and youth league football. 

Conditioning week will be the first week of August.

NEW IN 2011:  The Madison County Youth Football League is going to introduce a Madison County All-Star Team to be organized mid-season for ages 9-11.  More information to come later.
