PLEASE ACCEPT THIS INVITATION TO COMPETE INA FESTIVAL OF CROSS COUNTRY RACES FOR ANY AGE.Featuring PREMIER HIGH SCHOOL RACES, middle school races, Citizen’s Open and Kid’s Race – Eleven races in all.ONE OF THE LONGEST RUNNING HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY RACES IN THE STATE OF WASHINGTON! Visit the Richland Invitational merchandise booth, the Runners Soul of Kennewick booth, along with representatives from Saucony.
INTENT TO COMPETE DEADLINE FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS/INDIVIDUALS

ENTRY INFORMATION FOR MIDDLE and HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS/INDIVIDUALS
$50 for separate high school boys or girls team - $100 for both boys and girls high teams from the same high school – Middle School runners are FREE.
OR $10 per individual – high school only.
Make checks payable to RICHLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT and designate RICHLAND CROSS COUNTRY INVITATIONAL. Payments or purchase orders are due by the entry deadline of Tuesday, October 6th, 2009, and should be sent to Richland High School, 930 Long Avenue, Richland, WA 99352.
ENTRY DEADLINES FOR MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS/INDIVIDUALS
ALL HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETE ENTRIES ARE DUE BY TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, 2009 through the website www.athletic.net. There will be no other way to enter your athletes.
RACE DIVISION CATEGORIES
DIVISION 1 VARSITY – Premiere division for high school cross country programs that want the top level of competition for their varsity runners. This race is intended for 3A and 4A schools that will finish in the top ½ of their league or conference, along with smaller schools whose programs are ready for some higher level competition or are near or at the top of their league. 8 runners per school allowed, 5 score.
DIVISION 2 VARSITY – For smaller high school varsity programs or for larger schools still building their teams that aren’t quite ready for Division 1 level competition. The top 8 JV runners of schools who have entered their varsity team in the Division 1 race are also encouraged to run in this varsity division and are eligible for all awards offered in this race. 8 runners per school, 5 score.
