About RI Basketball
RI Basketball is a new program for ages 11-14. Sign ups are June 21 from 12 to 5:30 at Cranston High School West's baseball and softball field. During sign ups, you can pick to make your own team (which means that you have 5 kids to play and a coach) or if you want to be randomly placed on a team with a random coach. There will be 5 kids on each team and one coach. If you would like to coach go to this sign up on June 21. Our goal is to make 20 teams with 4 divisions. The top two teams in every division will move on to the playoffs! The team who wins the championship gets a prize of a trophy or a invitition to play more competivite teams in RI. You can also sign up here on our website but if you do sign up before June 18.

Rules for RI basketball
RI Basketball Rules
1. 2 halfs 10 minutes long
2. If up by more than 20 no more press over half court and clock is running all the time
3. Not streetball counts by 2 if 2 pointer and 3 if 3 pointer
4. 7 fouls 1 of 1 12 Double Bonus
5. 5 fouls and you foul out
6. NO fighting and agruing with the ref or you will be called with a tec and will be tossed
7. Other than that its real basketball rules

Sign up's accounced
Sign up's will be held on Saturday, June 21,2008 from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm at Cranston High School West's baseball and softball field! During sign up's, you can pick if you already have a team (you will be playing with that team for the whole league time period) or if you want to be randomly placed on a team. IF YOU WANT TO COACH COME TO THE SIGN UP'S. On every team there will be 5 players and 1 coach. We will be finished and have all the teams set by the end of June 23, 2008. The teams will be accounced on the website on June 24, 2008.
