Pack 486 Fort Pulaski Christmas Reinactment Visit
This event was the Fort Pulaski Christmas Party Reinactment. The event changes from year to year, some years it is a ghost tour, some it is a reinactment of the prison conditions at the fort. The highlight of the event was the firing of the big cannons in the dark. The rebel Christmas hymns and the rebel Santa were a little on the odd side though.

Our Pack meetings this year each followed a very organized theme and agenda. Each meeting we had songs, games, awards, and fun. This meeting shown in the pictures had the theme of "Farming". Our Den Leaders have done a great job of keeping to task and making this program fun and informative.

|
| Hey Mister, what does this button do?

Many thanks to Neal Patterson and the WTOC staff for our wonderful visit. Neal showed us each aspect of broadcasting at WTOC. It did get a little tense when the Scouts charged the main control panel and Pat Prokopt. It was a very memorable visit.

Jacksonville Zoo Campout _ July 2007
 |
|
| What happened to the power?? Are the fences still on??!!
|
Thank you to the Jacksonville Zoo staff for this wonderful campout. The behind the scenes night time tour was realy a hoot!! It had a very Jurasic Park feeling to it. During the visit we saw one of the elephants balance on a ball to look over his fence to flirt with the girl elephants in the next pen. This even suprised the animal keepers!!!

Magnolia Springs Campout - April 2007
This was our last event with Karl and Tracy Laine. I cannot thank them enough for the love and effort that they put into our pack. They were, and are, very kind and nice people. They set an ideal example for Scout leaders and parents. They will be sorely missed by me and the rest of our pack.
With that said this campout included a 2 mile canoe trip to the camp site. During which my twins, Joshua and Amanda, got in a paddle fight, almost tipped the canoe over, then both started crying. After I convinced them we were not going to die in the wilderness of the black swamp, we arrived at the camps site and took these pictures. After a bumpy start this campout was a lot of fun. Only Karl could have pulled this camp out off with Cubscouts, Tigers included.
