With as many as 12 current Rhino players playing this spring for the inaugural Utah Saints of the AIFA indoor professional league, Rhino Management has decided to not field a team for the 2008 RMFL season.  "Too much uncertainty with the loss of top players," noted team owner Dave Stireman.  With Stireman officially retired, plus the retirement of LT Phil Sotomayor,  the Rhinos were faced with the probability of trying to win their 9th consecutive league championship without upwards of 15 starters.

Stireman said, "I'll look at bringing the team back in 2009 in the near future."

The Rhino-Raiders would like to thank all of the people that made this team the most successful and dominant in the western United States over the past 9 years.  Special thanks go out to Stew MacInnes for setting the big red machine into motion.
