The Rappahannock Girls' Lacrosse League
This site is part of US Lacrosse.

RGLL began in 1998 through the combined efforts of Jeneen Callaghan, Robyne Charles, Julie Kelsey and Mike Miller to provide an alternate competitive sport for girls in the Stafford, Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania regions of VA.  Throughout the years, girls have participated on their school's field hockey, track, basketball, and soccer teams in addition to playing girl's lacrosse.  While participation in RGLL has come and gone over the years, youth participation in the area has steadily grown.  RGLL offers the perfect opportunity for girls "graduating" from the youth league to participate in the fastest growing sport for girls in the country.

Contact RGLL if you'd like to arrange a meeting for your team, club or parent's organization to discuss and review the rules and play of women's lacrosse.  A better understanding of rules will benefit players and make the game of women's lacrosse more enjoyable for the parents.

Spread the word about girl's lacrosse and let your school, especially high schoolers, know about your interest.  They want to hear from you.  Tell your teachers, athletic directors, assistant principals, and coaches of other school sports.  Girls, get the boy's lacrosse team to rally for you!!!
RGLL will endeavor to provide high school-aged girl's lacrosse in the Stafford, Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg areas of VA. (Elementary and middle school aged girls go to the Stafford Lacrosse Association, or Spotsylvania County Lacrosse Club). RGLL continues to build partnerships with area organizations and sports leaders to expand the offering of girl's lacrosse in this region.
Please feel free to contact Mike Miller at mike@rgll.org if you have any questions regarding RGLL.
