I’m writing to you today in my role as RFYBS Vice President of Girls’ Softball, I’m happy to announce that we’ve recently built an alliance with the Concordia University Womens’ Softball Coaching Staff and the varsity softball program!

This clinic has been specifically designed to teach PLAYERS and PARENTS softball skills such as windmill style pitching
and hitting as well as fielding, throwing and proper warm-ups skills and body mechanics.
There will also be a Chalk Talk /Q & A session with Concordia’s new Head Coach,
Alison Aguilar Haehnel  http://www.cuchicago.edu/athletics/women/softball/coach.asp.
Coach Haehnel remains in the top ten of eleven different pitching categories for the University of Illinois-Chicago Flames where she was a standout four-year starting pitcher, a two time Conference Player of the Year and a 2004. As a UIC graduate she has extensive coaching experience at the Divisions I and III levels.
The October 18 Event is an introductory session to the start of a six week, once per week, series of camps to be held at Concordia and administered by the CU coaching staff and varsity players. The purpose of these camps is to improve the long term level of play within our “House” Leagues and to help further your softball skills. Please join me in spreading the word!
