Here is the planned player evaluation schedule. The sessions are used to properly evaluate the skill levels of the players so that the teams may be fairly drafted.

Players are not required to attend but are strongly encouraged to do so. Parents who volunteered to coach should try to attend the relevant sessions for their age group. The session schedule is listed below. All sessions will take place at the RSPS gym.

We in the process of making various changes in order to strengthen the CYO basketball program and enhance the experience for the players. One change is an effort to start the basketball program earlier so that we can get our teams organized and practicing as early as possible. Also, we are actively working to address the practice issues that plagued us the last few years. This includes using more of the public school gyms and re-arranging the RSPS gym schedule to free up more time.

In order to keep everyone informed, here is the upcoming plan and schedule for the CYO basketball program. Mark your calendars and stay tuned for updates.

Evaluations: Week of Aug. 31 - Sept. 4 and week of Sept. 7-11

Teams formed: Week of Sept. 14 (will be some effort to keep teams together)

Practices Begin: Week of Sept. 21

Games Begin: Dec. 4 (in most cases)

Registration for the 2007-2008 Church of the Resurrection CYO Basketball season is now underway! In an effort to be more organized and better prepared for the season, we are starting the process earlier than usual (note the earlier registration deadline below).

There are many exciting changes and upgrades in store for this season. Gina McClean will now be handling many of the planning and administrative details associated with the program. Plans are underway for summer clinics, coaching clinics and enhanced practice opportunities (i.e. more/better practice times during the season) so stay tuned.

Similar to the last few seasons, registration will be handled online. Click on the links above or in the menu to the left for more information and to begin registration. The registration period is May 1st to Sept. 7th. The registration fee for this year is $95 for early-bird registrations before Aug 1st and $115 for registrations on or after August 1st.

When you register online, please make sure that you print out the confirmation page and also receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation, your registration may not have gone through!
