2011-2012 Season
Register Now!!! Registration ends October 31st, 2011.
Open to youth of the parish and school grades 3-8 and high school students. Second grade program registration will be in the fall.
Program overview: We are continuing to partner with St. Louis, Trinity and St. Michael’s in the Mid Maryland Youth Basketball League (MMYBL). Joining us this year is St. John’s in Olney. Teams will be formed for boys and girls in each grade, 3 – 8. We will also have CYO league teams for 5th – 8th grade if there is enough interest. CYO games are played at various parishes.
High school students will play in the CYO high school league beginning in January, after the holidays. For more information on the HS league, please contact Paul Matthews (p.matthews@ngc.com).
Evaluations: Will be held the second week of October to assist the coordinators in forming evenly matched teams. All children registered will be placed on a team.
Practices: Will be held at Resurrection or area public school gyms Mondays – Saturdays in the fall, then Monday – Thursdays once the season begins. Practices will begin the last week of October.
Games: Will be played at Resurrection, Trinity, St. Michael’s or St. John’s from December 2, 2011 – March 5, 2012, on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays. We are also working on play-offs in March for the older players. More information to follow this Fall.
Coaches: Are needed for all levels. Please indicate your interest on your child’s registration form.
Registration fee: $100 by July 31, 2011, $125 August 1 to October 31st. Fee includes uniforms. Grades 5 -8 uniforms are to be returned at the season's end.
When you register online, please make sure that you print out the confirmation page and also receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation, your registration may not have gone through!
