Reston Wildfire: Welcome

The Reston Wildfire is a rising U15 girls travel soccer team playing in the Washington Area Girls Soccer League (WAGS). The Wildfire will represent the Reston Soccer Association as the Clubs premier team in Division 3 for the Fall of 2012. The Wildfire have achieved tremendous success over the years receiving Championship and Finalist awards in several prestigious tournaments.
All of our players are committed and skilled soccer players, many of whom play other sports, including field hockey, volleyball, basketball, lacrosse and cross-country. We believe that athletes can successfully play multiple sports and participate in outside activities at the same time. Please contact Coach Adam to discuss how we can help balance your daughter's high school schedule while still participating in the sports and activities that she wants to. The Wildfire is a family of girls, as well as a team, that work hard both on and off the field year round. The primary focus of the team is total player and team development while performing at the highest level of competition. The Wildfire is coached by Adam Schulman who is a nationally licensed VYSA and USSF Soccer Coach. In addition to having played soccer at many different levels, Adam has coached and trained teams from ages 6 through college. Adam coaches out of a passion for developing girls as players and people through soccer, the greatest sport in the world. Adam works with each player to ensure that they will continue to grow and improve their skills in order to achieve these goals and the focus of the team. The Wildfire have succeeded by developing players as well as a team that plays effectively together. Ramsey Meiser serves as the Assistant Coach for the team. The Wildfire is Adam’s and Ramsey’s primary focus and they both put in countless hours of time on a voluntary basis.

Congratulations to the Wildfire for once again going undefeated and winning the Championship at The John Daly Camp this week at The College of William and Mary. In addition to winning the title two of our girls were named to the all-star team and one of our players was named as Tournament MVP.
Monday, November 21
Congratulations to the Reston Wildfire for winning the U14 Elite Division championship over the weekend of November 19-20. The girls were undefeated all weekend posting a final record of 3 wins and 1 tie. They beat the FCSC Fever in the finals by a score of 3-0.

Congratulations to the Wildfire for winning the Championship at The John Daly Camp this week at The College of William and Mary. Ten of our girls attended the week long camp in Williamsburg and were undefeated as they took home the Championship. In addition , four of our players were named to the camps all-star team and one of girls was selected as the Tournament MVP.

Congratulations to the Reston Wildfire for winning the Hershey Invitational U13 Division championship over the weekend of June 18-19. The girls were undefeated all weekend winning all 4 games by a combined score of 14-3. They beat the previously undefeated Vineland Voltage in the finals by a score of 4-2 after scoring 4 consecutive goals.

Congratulations to the Reston Wildfire for winning the U13 Elite Division championship over the weekend of November 20-21. The girls were undefeated all weekend posting a final record of 3 wins and 1 tie. They beat the previously undefeated EPIC Storm, the 2010 West Virginia State Champions, in the finals in a hard fought game by a score of 2-1.
