State Cup Fall 2008
As a 6th seed MPS 90 had a bye in the first round of State Cup competition. The team will face ACN Platini as its first opponent in round 2.
ACN Platini hails from Norfolk and competes in the U-19 Division of the VSLI (Virginia Soccer League, Inc.). ACN Platini beat the NCSL div 2 leader VSA Heat 90 2 nil in the first round of the competition.

Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament
On November 22/23 MPS90 will participate in 2008 Bethesda Thanksgiving Tournament. Having been seeded in one of the top brackets MPS 90 will face Spirit Untied SC Premier (PAE) in the opening game on Stadium Field. In the 2nd game of the day, the opponent will be Delaware United FC (DE). On Sunday morning MPS 90 will take on VE Blast, another team from the strong eastern Pennsylvania area.
