Welcome to Reston Little League
Located in Northern Virginia, Reston Little League is a member of Virginia's District 4. Reston Little League boundary are includes the greater Reston and Herndon community (see boundary tab for more details). Reston Little League offers a fun and competitive baseball experience for players ages 5 through 12. Our program focuses on the development of baseball skills, sportsmanship, and a love for the game of baseball, all in a fun family oriented community. Our spring regular season runs from March through mid-June. Post-season tournaments for player ages 9 thru 12 follows the end of the regular season and runs into mid-to-late July. Tuesday July 7 Reston National Majors beat Arlington American 3-2 Reston American Majors lost to McLean American 7-3 Monday July 6 Reston National Majors beat McLean American 4-3 Reston American Majors beat Mason District 16-5. Reston National 9/10 lost in the Semi-Final game vs. Vienna National 6-4. Congratulations on a great tournament to the entire Reston National team and coaching staff. Reston Hosting Little League Baseball 10/11 Year Old State Tournament - July 16 - 21!
Reston Little League is excited to be hosting the Little League State 10/11 Baseball Tournament this July 16-21st. Planning for the event is well under way and it is shaping up to be a great week of baseball. The opening ceremonies will be held at the Reston Town Center Pavilion on Thursday evening July 16th from 5:30-8:00 pm. Games will be played at our very own Fred Crabtree Park on Friday July 17th, Saturday, July 18th and Sunday, July 19th at 10am, 1pm and 4pm and on Monday July 20th and Tuesday, July 21st at 4pm and 7pm. Volunteers are still needed for this event. Please come out and help while enjoying some great baseball. Contact Joanne Gryski at gryski@cox.net to offer help. Opportunities for businesses will be numerous, as over 550 people will be expected to visit Reston for this event. Reston Little League Announces Its New Concession Stand, Gift Shop and Restrooms
Reston Little League is pleased to announce the opening of its brand new concession stand, gift shop and restrooms at Fred Crabtree ball fields. Come and enjoy your favorite ballgame food, drinks and snacks during the All Star Tournaments. We have fresh pizza, Subway subs, pork barbeque, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, taquitos and much more. Top off your selection with our ice cream, candy, popcorn, chips and drinks. We are open 45 minutes prior to game time and until 15 minutes after the last game. Don't forget to visit our new specialty gift shop featuring baseball jewelry, tote bags, footwear, home decorative items, car magnets and more. The restrooms are located behind the concession stand. Congratulations to the Majors Yankees for winning the American League and the Braves for winning the National League. The Braves also won the Post-Season Championship.
In AAA the Angels won the American League and the Astros the National League. Both teams will represent RLL in the District wide Starliper Tournament. Congratulations to the Rays for winning the Post-Season Championship
