Reno Continental is one of the oldest youth sports leagues in the Truckee Meadows and has served several generations of youth and their families for over forty years. As a member of National Little League, the mission of Reno Continental is to “teach children in our community the ideals of fitness, good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children who will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy citizens.” Your continued support is essential to providing a quality experience for the youth and families we serve. I am sure you or someone in your family has played Little League baseball. Perhaps, you played baseball at Jack Tighe field and, therefore, have a special appreciation for our cause. Our fields are the oldest in Reno and, due to years of use, we no longer have a facility that is safe, compliant with current Little League Codes and Regulations, or suitable for teaching and playing the game of baseball. Also, because of the dilapidated state of our facilities, Reno Continental is limited in the number of children and families we can serve in our growing community and we are unable to host tournaments at our home fields. In order to continue to fulfill our mission to youth and families in our district, we need your help, so we can repair, renovate and modernize our fields.
