Please see the'Tryout Letter' link which provides a brief Club overview and our general philosophy. If a prospective player or parent is interested in receiving club email updates and tryout information, please complete the survey at the bottom of the home page.

Please follow these simple guidelines to help ensure tryouts proceed efficiently.
1.) Complete the '08 Registration Information Sheet and the Renegades Waiver form. Forms can be downloaded by selecting the 'Handouts' link.
2.) Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to start time so you will have adequate time to turn in forms, get dressed and stretch properly.
3.) Bring plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
4.) Remember to get your equipment out of the school locker room!

The club has hired a certified athletic trainer to attend tryouts, all practices, pick-up games, and some local tournaments. She will be there before and after all sessions. If you need to be wrapped or looked at, please arrive early.

NEWS ALERT 1/25/08
The Renegades will host a 'College Night' session. Our goal is to provide families an in depth and honest discussion on the college recruiting process. We will have college coaches and financial aid experts on hand for Q & A sessions. Target date is for sometime in June. More info to follow. In the meantime, please feel free to review the 'Renegades Guide to College Recruiting' and the NCAA guide for the college bound athlete. These documents are very detailed and terrific resources.

NEWS ALERT 1/24/08
The Renegades will be participating in the NPYLL Inaugural Season. For 2008 we will only field a u15 team in this league. The spring Renegade team will be comprised of select individuals whose recreation team has not already committed to a traditional Saturday Junior youth league. Remember, the Renegades exist to supplement your recreation team, not replace or interfer with it. Your MYLA team should and will be the first priority. The March tryouts are for the summer team, not the spring NPYLL team. Coaches will notify individual players about their participation on this team. There will not be an open tryout. If all goes well, we will expand to field a u13 NPYLL team in 2009.

For more information on the different age groups, click on the specific team links on toolbar to the left.

Welcome to the Home of Harford Renegades Lacrosse Club. We are a non-profit, all-star, post season, club lacrosse program that showcases boys from Harford County and surrounding areas in summer and fall recruiting tournaments. We just completed our fourth year of competition in which we fielded four teams; one rising 7th/8th grade team (White Team), one rising freshman-soph team (Gold Team), one rising soph-junior team (Black Team), and one rising junior-senior team (Red Team). The club will consider adding additional teams if the quality and quantity of players presents itself. Please register with us below, so we may keep you informed of club happenings.

Cost of Play
Depending on the age group, we currently expose the boys to three to seven post season tournaments, additional prep scrimmages, provide a team helmet, gloves, uniforms, apparel package and provide quality coaching for around $500. We plan to expand our tournament schedule as challenging tournaments come on line in and around our area. Fees for the two oldest teams will be higher due to their participation in select team recruiting camps. Fees will be lower for the youngest teams because of their reduced tourney schedule. The fees may rise as we take on additional tournaments, but the Renegades are still the best deal in town as club lacrosse goes. The financial burden is not disporptional within our club ranks, funds/fees are evenly distributed throughout all our age grouped teams.

Club Philosophy
Young men who wish to improve their lacrosse skills, or play the game at the next level are looking for opportunities to play and practice outside their High School or recreational environment. Boys who wish to play at the college level are struggling with the complexities of being seen and being recruited. We are a group of experienced, involved, Harford County parents who are able to create the play opportunities necessary and provide advice and information throughout the college recruiting ordeal. We do this all in a "not for profit environment". We are always looking for help from other involved parents. Our goal is to create a highly skilled, county-wide, elite, boys lacrosse program promoting area players and a love for the game.

See you out there!
