Renegades Win Mickie Gordon Memorial Day Tournament 5/25/09
The Virginia Renegades 15U Baseball team recently won the 15th Annual Mickie Gordon Memorial Baseball Tournament at Fireman’s Field in Purcellville, VA. In a constant rain, the Renegades weathered the storm and were buoyed by a strong pitching performance by Bobby Mason of Parkview High School. The Renegades won the championship game in dramatic fashion on a suicide squeeze by Ryan Forrest of South Lakes High School in the last inning to capture the 10-9 victory over the NVA Patriots.
Renegades Win USSSA 15U Fall Baseball Classic! 10/12/08
Ruther Glen, VA - The Virginia Renegades took home their first championship of the Fall with a gutsy performance from their pitching staff, timely hitting and some key defensive plays to win the USSSA Fall Baseball Classic at the Virginia Sports Complex. The Renegades finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record beating the Old Diminion Owls 3-2 in the Championship game. Our Mission is to develop the fundamental baseball skills of each player while preparing them mentally to succeed in the game of baseball. Our philosophy is
to build our team around three main principles, Preparation, Purpose,and Pride. Our coaching focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of the game with an emphasis on game like practices and drills. Our overall goal is to provide our players with the necessary skills to continue their careers into high school and beyond.
