Fall 2012 - 15U Renegades

During Fall 2012, the 15U Virginia Renegades will be playing as a JV-level team against a mix of 15U and 16U teams.  Our players are from northern Fairfax (Reston/ Herndon/ Great Falls/ Oakton/ Fairfax City area) and eastern Loudoun County.  We typically practice at one of the following locations:  Nike Park, Dulles Corner, South Lakes HS, Herndon HS, Nottoway, Alabama Ave.

Congratulation 2010 13U Virginia Renegades- NVTBL Memorial Day Champions! 

The Virginia Renegades fought hard and captured the Memorial Day weekend 13U- NVTBL Championship with an undefeated 6-0 record. The Renegades' championship run included three barn-burner, come from behind victories in the 7th or 8th inning. The Championship game featured a dramatic 5-4 Renegade victory over the Headfirst Gamers that ended with the game-tying runner tagged out at the plate. The Renegades thank their opponents for their great competition and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the Renegades!

 

Renegades Win 2009 Cooperstown Baseball World 15U Championship 7/23/09

Cooperstown, NY - The Virginia Renegades 15U baseball team capped a great season
this past weekend by winning the Cooperstown Baseball World 15U Championship
in Cooperstown, NY. The victory in  Cooperstown was the fourth tournament championship for the
Renegades this season, as the team also won the Mickie Gordon Memorial Day
Tournament in Purcellville, VA, the Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League
(NVTBL) JV Championship, and the Morgantown, WV Marathon.
 

Renegades Win Morgantown Marathon Tournament 6/28/09

Morgantown, WV- The Virginia Rengades 15U baseball team won the Morgantown Marathon Championship this past weekend with a 9-1 victory over the Maryland Patriots. The Rengades swept through the playoffs with a 3-0 record to capture their 3rd tournament victory of the year. The Renegades compete in the Mid-Atlantic State Championship this weekend and then travel to the Virginia Sports Complex for the Virginia 15U States. The Renegades season wraps up with a week-long tournament in Cooperstown, NY.

Renegades Win Mickie Gordon Memorial Day Tournament 5/25/09

The Virginia Renegades 15U Baseball team recently won the 15th Annual Mickie Gordon Memorial Baseball Tournament at Fireman’s Field in Purcellville, VA.  In a constant rain, the Renegades weathered the storm and were buoyed by a strong pitching performance by Bobby Mason of Parkview High School. The Renegades won the championship game in dramatic fashion on a suicide squeeze by Ryan Forrest of South Lakes High School in the last inning to capture the  10-9 victory over the NVA Patriots.

Renegades Win USSSA 15U Fall Baseball Classic! 10/12/08

Ruther Glen, VA - The Virginia Renegades took home their first championship of the Fall with a gutsy performance from their pitching staff, timely hitting and some key defensive plays to win the USSSA Fall Baseball Classic at the Virginia Sports Complex. The Renegades finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record beating the Old Diminion Owls 3-2 in the Championship game.

Our Mission is to develop the fundamental baseball skills of each player while preparing them mentally to succeed in the game of baseball. Our philosophy is
to build our team around three main principles, Preparation, Purpose,and Pride.
Our coaching focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of the game with an emphasis on game like practices and drills. Our overall goal is to provide our players with the necessary skills to continue their careers into high school and beyond.
