Renegades Win USSSA 15U Fall Baseball Classic! 10/12/08
Ruther Glen, VA - The Virginia Renegades took home their first championship of the Fall with a gutsy performance from their pitching staff, timely hitting and some key defensive plays to win the USSSA Fall Baseball Classic at the Virginia Sports Complex. The Renegades finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record beating the Old Diminion Owls 3-2 in the Championship game. Renegade Fall Plans
The Virginia Renegades will be competing in the NVTBL as well as several Fall '08 USSSA tournaments in preparation for entry into the VA State and AAU/USSSA National tournaments in the Spring/Summer of 2009. We will play a very competitive schedule in 2009. The majority of the 2009 schedule will be in the mid-May to August timeframe once players return from their High School teams. The Renegades are looking for talented players in the Northern Virginia area who are looking to play competitive tournament baseball.
The Renegade Mission
Our Mission is to develop the fundamental baseball skills of each player while preparing them mentally to succeed in the game of baseball. Our philosophy is
to build our team around three main principles, Preparation, Purpose,and Pride. Our coaching focuses on both the physical and mental aspects of the game with an emphasis on game like practices and drills. Our overall goal is to provide our players with the necessary skills to continue their careers into high school and beyond.
