 The Boston Red Sox donated a autographed Kevin Youkilis ball for us to raffle or auction off. We received it on Monday, May 21 so we were unable to raffle or auction the ball off at our event. This Years Event: May 19, 2007.  Gates open at 5:00 and the first pitch is at 6:00. We will have several celebrity guests on hand. The game has been moved to the Tewksbury Elks Lodge, located at 777 South Street in Tewksbury, MA. Red Sox Mascott Wally the Green Monster will not be able to make it this year as he will be too busy at Fenway the day of our event. Babe Ruth will be at the event to throw out the first pitch. We will be raffling off Red Sox tix, A Curt Schilling & Derek Jeter jersey, over 20 Gift Cards from popular businesses like the Ninety Nines, Piccadilly Pub, Applebee's, Capellinis, Motel 6, Holiday Inn, Longhornes and dozens of other local businesses.


   This site is for the Annual Red Sox Fans vs Yankee Fans Charity Softball Game that is played every year in Tewksbury or Lowell, Massachusetts. All game information is on this site. Now about the game, Bobby Cooper from Tewksbury/MA, Chip Butler from Billerica/MA and Tom Saucier from Tewksbury/MA are the event coordinators.

Who plays and whats the scoop?
Thirty-eight Red Sox Fans and Yankee Fans from all over New England and New York will gather on Saturday, May 19 at the Tewksbury Elks. All the fun starts at 5:00 pm. This is the first known organized competition for fans within sports biggest rival, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox.
5:00 Gate Open, FREE Admission
5:15 Home Run Derby, 4 Red Sox vs 4 Yankee Fans will slug it out. The winning team will be the home team.
5:45 Opening Ceremony/National Anthem.
6:00 First Pitch (Thrown by Babe Ruth)
8:00 Game Ends and a big after party will be held from 8:00-10:30. Food, Cash Bar, Disc Jockey and lots more fun stuff is planned!

Where is the Charity Game held?
This years game will be held at the Tewksbury Elks Lodge in Tewksbury, MA. Site Web Site http://www.elks2070.com/ . In 2006 the game was held at Harry Allen Field in Lowell, MA. We had to move the game to Tewksbury because of the permit reasons.


How do I sign up?
Rosters on both sides are now full. To be listed as an alternate in case some one backs you can email me to be put on the list.  Shirts have numbers of current and past Red Sox-Yankee legends such as Mattingly, M.Ramirez, Rice, Varitek, Jeter, Arod, Fisk, Remy, Ruth, Wakefield, Rivera, Reggie Jackson, Lynn, Winfield, Cronan, Evans, Buckner, Ted Williams, Yaz, Ortiz, Clemens and more will be worn. Each team will have 18 members on it. These shirts are for those who play to keep. They are the same that the pro's wear.

2006 Event Notes: The Red Sox Fans won 21-17 in the 1st annual game........The National Anthem was sung by Kristy Landry. Kristy has sang the National Anthem at the Golden Gloves and made it to New York after her Boston audition on American Idol................This event is registered and endorsed by the Jimmy Fund & Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.........NESN, Channel 7 and Fox25 covered the game along with several newspapers..........A Disc Jockey was on hand to play music.........A 50/50 raffle was held to raise money. All proceeds went to the Jimmy Fund & Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.......Fans got the chance to dunk a Red Sox or Yankee fan in the Dunk Tank........Over 450 people attended the 1st annual event.......Fox25's Butch Stearns and David Wade played on the Red Sox team...........Hot Dogs, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, Drinks and other items were sold to raise money......We raised over $2,200.00 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
