History of REDRUM
Our team started out as a High School All Star team from So. Huntington Beach. Our name came from one of our mothers who put our colors together with the name.
We played well during our first year and have grown and become better since.
Most of our team is still made up of Huntington Beach girls and we practice at Edison High School.
The manager, Trent Harris, has been coaching softball for 10 years, including one year at Edison High.
Don Barnes has been coaching for seven years, including several battles with Trent in the rec. league.
Tom Voth is our newest coach. He has spent many hours learning hitting techniques and now teaches our girls.
We are trying to teach our girls how to play quality ball. We are also trying to develop a positive reputation amongst our peer teams.
