Purpose Statement
Red Land Little League Baseball is committed to the purpose of implanting firmly in the youth of the Red Land area the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that our children may be well adjusted, stronger and happier and grow to be decent, healthy and trustworthy adults.
To achieve this purpose, we will provide a supervised program of competitive baseball under the rules and policies of Little League Baseball, Incorporated. All members shall bear in mind that stressing exceptional athletic skills or winning of games is secondary, and that the type of leadership extended to the players is of prime importance.
League By-laws
Our bylaws provide the operational procedures for our incorporation. Please take a moment to acquaint yourself with our Red Land Little League By-laws.
The Red Land Little League Constitution (a.k.a By-Laws) spells out the duties and responsibilities of the officers of the board, definition of membership, election procedures, meeting requirements such as quorum, etc. No part of the Constitution can conflict with or supercede any Little League rule, regulation or policy.
The Constitution of Red Land Little League remains in effect from year-to-year, without requiring annual adoption by the membership or the board of directors. However, the board of directors should review the Constitution annually for any possible amendments it may wish to propose to the membership.
