Raider - a person(team) or thing that raids. A commando, ranger, or the like, specially trained to participate in military raids. A light, fast warship, aircraft, etc.. used in such a raid.

                                                 The Redan Park Raiders is taking over!!!!!

Redan Park is located in Lithonia, Ga.. The address to Redan Park is 1745 Phillips Rd. Lithonia, Ga. 30058.

Redan Park Raiders Programs(All Sports at Redan Park is ran under the Dekalb County Parks and Recreation. Click on "My Site News" to get contact info).  

The Redan Park Raiders Football and Cheerleading Program has football and cheerleading teams ranging from 5yrs. old to 14yrs. old.  

The Redan Park Raiders Flag Football Program has Flag Football for 6-U up to 14-U. 

The Redan Park Raiders Baseball Program has teams starting from the 3 & 4 Instructional League up to 14-U baseball.

The Redan Park Raiders Basketball Program has teams starting from 6-U up to 14-U. 

The Redan Park Raiders Softball Program has teams that start from 6-U up to 10-U softball.

Redan Park Raiders Cheerleaders Coaches:

Coach LaShay; Coach Tonya; Coach Deborah(10-U). The 10-U Cheerleader practices will be Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm - 8pm..

Coach Sheri will be coaching the 12-U. The 12-U practices will be Monday and Wednesday evening from 7pm - 8pm.

The Redan Park Raiders Football Program was ranked 7th in the State of Georgia as one of the top organizations.

Congratulations #2 Redan Park Raiders 14-U(Montarious Touchstone) for being honored on the B2C All-Star Team at the Defensive Safety Position. He also was nominated 14-U player of the year on the Georgia Youth Football website. He participated in the All-Georgia Youth Football Game on the Blue Team.

Congratulations to Mrs. Shaleah Zambino for winning the 2010 B2C Team Mom Award.

Also, congratulations to those below for being nominated for various awards from B2C: 

#13 Ronald Thompkins(Redan Park Raiders 9-U Blue) nominated for the 2010 9-U Player of the Year Award.

Coach Ben Smith(Redan Park Raiders 9-U) nominated for the 2010 9-U Head Coach of the Year.

Redan Park Raiders Cheerleaders!!!

The Redan Park Raiders Cheerleaders were in competition on yesterday. The young women did a fantastic job in competiting with other cheer squads in UYFC. Here are the results from the cheer competition: 

Lady Raiders Age 7/8  Placed 3rd
Lady Raiders Age 9/10 Grand Champions
Lady Raiders Age 11/14 Runner-Up

Football Championship Game Day Recap!!!!

The 7-U Raiders won their championship last week with a hard fought 12-6 victory.

The 9-U(Blue) Raiders vs. the 9-U(White) Raiders played a classic game. That game should've been on ESPN. The 9-U(Blue) Raiders outlasted the (White) Raiders 26 - 20 to win the championship. Best Game of the Day.

The 10-U(Blue) Raiders won the YFA Championship with a thrilling 18 - 6 win over DYJ.

The 11-U Raiders won the YFA Championship by out working the College Park Browns with a 24 - 20 victory.

The 12-U(Blue) Raiders won the YFA Championship by grinding out a 12 - 8 win over DYJ.

The 14-U Raiders won the YFA Championship in Double OT in a physical battle of will, with a 19 - 13 win over Hapeville.

Congratulation to the Redan Park Raiders 6-U(Coach D) Basketball Team for winning the 2010 6-U Stronghold Youth Basketball Championship!!! The young Raiders pulled an upset in the Championship by defeating the number #1 ranked Dekalb Heat team. Congratulations to the young 6-U Raiders!!!!

Congratulation to the Redan Park Raiders-White 10-U(Coach N. Rocker) Basketball Team for winning the 2010 10-U Stronghold Youth Basketball Championship!!! This Redan Park Basketball Team pulled off a stunning upset in the semi-finals by defeating the number #1 ranked undefeated Redan Park Raiders(Blue) team, then came back the next day to win the overall championship against the Dekalb Knights on Sunday. Job Well Done to the Coaches, Players, and Parents of the Redan Park Raiders(White) 10-U team. You did it the hard way, You Earned it!!!
