Blue is 6 and 2, White Wins Again
The Rebel Blue team continued their winning ways as they took both games on Sunday at the Becker League. In game one they knocked off previously undefeated Princeton 30-29. Team Captain Ashley Metcalfe reported some very clutch free throws were made to help secure the win.
In game two the Blue team toppled Albany 42-27. Metcalfe said it was a "total team effort" as everyone did something to contribute to the win. The victories put the Blue team's record at an impressive 6 and 2 for the fall.
The White team split on the day, losing to Crosby-Ironton before beating Kimball 37-22.
The Silver team dropped both of their games, losing to Watertown-Mayer and Rockford.
No word on how the JV team did. If someone would e-mail me scores I'd be happy to put them on the site.
Next Sunday is the final day of action in the Fall League.
