RC Starz Girls Lacrosse Club: Team Rosters


2008 GIRLS RC Starz Summer Rosters will be posted by Monday, June 9 @ 12:00noon.

Guide to understanding the teams/divisions:

1) Players are divided by grade (not age).
Elite & High School: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th graders
COMING FALL/WINTER 2008
Middle School: 6th, 7th 8th graders  
Youth: 3rd, 4th, 5th graders  

SUMMER SEASON = grade last completed
(The season runs the months of June & July.)

For example: Jane Doe just completed or will complete 8th grade in the spring. For the summer season, she is only eligible for the Middle School team NOT the Elite or High School team (see below for Elite/High School team). Once she enters 9th grade in the fall, then she may try out for Elite/High School teams and is no longer eligible for the Middle School team.

 12th graders/Seniors: We ask that ONLY non-committed college bound 12th graders/Seniors tryout. Please no COMMITTED SENIORS. It is the goal of Starz/SD Rip to help in the college recruiting process and guide players to play beyond the high school level.

FALL/WINTER SEASON = current grade
(The season run mid November --> mid January.)

For example: Little Jane Doe (who played for the Middle School team in the summer) is now a freshman in high school and is only eligible to tryout for the Elite/High School teams.

2) Players are divided by skill level and playing abilities. There is a NO CUT policy for the Middle School and Youth teams - there is a spot for any girl who wants to try out.
Elite

 		Coming Fall/Winter 2008 - The Elite team will be comprised of the best 9th-12th grade girls that include,but are not limited highly skilled, varsity all-stars.
These girls have the ambition and drive to play college lacrosse.
High School

 Coming Fall/Winter 2008 - The High School team is made up of primarily of underclassmenthat are working at becoming the best.These players are
developing to become part of the Elite team.
Middle School There is only one Middle School team with girls from 6th-8th grade who have great potentail, are earger to learn and love lacrosse. (No cuts will be made.
Tryouts are for evaluation purposes only.)
Youth The one Youth team includes girls from 3rd-5th grade who have great potentail, are earger to learn and love lacrosse.(No cuts will be made.
