Adidas Lacrosse Classic
Adidas National Lacrosse ClassicUnderclassmen All-American Team Tryout It is not too late to register for the adidas Underclassmen All-American regional team tryout in your area. Register before April 24, 2009 for the select option and receive a pair of adidas Lacrosse Cleats at the tryout. If you want to play lacrosse in college after you graduate from high school, you don’t want to miss your adidas National Lacrosse Classic Underclassmen All-American regional team tryout. 20 regional teams from all over the United States will come together July 7-9th in Germantown, Maryland to play for a national championship and determine the best region for high school lacrosse in the country. Over 50 NCAA college lacrosse coaches were in attendance for the inaugural event to scout players to be recruited for schools such as Virginia, Princeton, Towson, Loyola, Navy, Army, UMBC. Bucknell, Ohio State, Penn State, Maryland, Hobart, Drexel, Penn, Dickinson, Stony Brook, Gettysburg, VMI, Fairfield, Washington, Seton Hill and others… Follow this link to watch a short video about the adidas National Lacrosse Classic. - There are more than 300,000 youth lacrosse players.
- There are nearly 1500 teams and approximately 125,000 high school lacrosse players.
- There are nearly 400 college teams comprised of about 12,000 players.
- Of those 400 teams, there are 96 D1 and D2 teams with about 2,800 players
