Western Challenge Cup 2012

Metro Minor Ball Hockey is pleased to be hosting the 2012 Western Challenge Cup.

Tournament Dates: Thursday, July 12th to Sunday, July 15th.

Age Groups: Eligibility dates are no longer based on tournament dates, instead now correspondence with calendar years as follows:

U19 (born in 1993 or younger)

U17 (born in 1995 or younger)

U15 (born in 1997 or younger)

U13 (born in 1999 or younger)

U11 (born in 2001 or younger)

Host Arenas:

Kensington Arena - Burnaby

Bill Copeland Arena – Burnaby

Burnaby Lake Arena – Burnaby

Killarney Arena – Vancouver

Additional information will be posted as the season progresses.

2010 UROC Award Recipients In May 2010

RSDMBHA was the proud recipient of the City of Richmond's prestigous UROC Award in the category of Asset Champions. A heartfelt thank you to Wendy Lim for nominating the association and the following is an excerpt from her nomination letter:

"The Richmond/South Delta Minor Ball Hockey Association Executive members are passionate about the sport and are committed to ensuring that the youth players have fun, develop ball hockey skills, and more importantly develop strong sportsmanship and good attitudes. Executive members in this organization double as volunteer coaches and managers of the various teams each season. They are exceptional role models for our youth, because they teach in an environment of fun, encouragement, cooperation, and TEAM.
