Welcome to Razor Sharp Athletic Training!
Razor Sharp Athletic Training was founded to provide a program for athletes from the age of 9 and up who wish to improve their speed, agility and conditioning. The trainers at Razor Sharp are committed to being the best trainers possible. Their commitment and dedication to the program means that they develop the best athletes possible.
Razor Sharp Athletic Training believes in the holistic development of the athlete. Speed, agility, coordination and a sound mind are all essential to the success of an athlete.
Our primary location is the Razor Sharp Training Facility at Fitzgerald Field. Fitzgerald Field, home of the Tucker Football League, is located at 4877 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, GA 30084.
The Razor Sharp Goal:
The goal of Razor Sharp Athletic Training is to enhance the skills of those who join the program, to improve the attitude of the participants, and to increase the confidence of those athletes who wish to take their skills to the next level.
The Razor Sharp Program:
The Razor Sharp program is comprised of distinct workout 'Seasons'. Each season consists of ten or more sessions. During each session the athletes rotate between individual stations where they perform repetitive drills. Each drill focuses on either improving speed, agility, coordination, or overall conditioning. The trainers at Razor Sharp know that improvement in these areas will only be accomplished through repetition.
At the beginning of each season every Razor Sharp participant is timed in four drills. The Razor Sharp trainers review the results and determine the areas which need improvement and modify the drills accordingly. The participants are timed in the same four drills at the end of the season.
The drills are:
L-Cone Drill
Standing Broad Jump
20 yd. Shuttle or Pro-Agility Drill
These timed drills are patterned after those used in football combines which are attended by aspiring college and professional football players.

The philosophy of Razor Sharp Athletic Training is embodied in the belief that athletes of all ages can enhance their perfromance by working on repetitive drills and exercises that...
...assist in developing speed and quickness;
...make the athlete more agile and coordinated; and
...improves the overall condition of the athlete.
Moreover, this should be done in an environment that...
...encourages positive reinforcement and competition;
...emphasizes character development; and
...results in increased confidence and self-esteem.
The program is designed to be intense and embrace the outdoor elements. Some training areas emphasize very short rest periods, just as many sports require quick physical recovery. As some sports require the body to move effortlessly in many directions, all Razor Sharp training areas emphasize the development of muscle memory that only be accomplished through repetition. Competition between the athletes is encouraged, as we feel a competitive drive is demanded to suceed in all athletic endeavors.
