WANT TO REDUCE YOUR PLAYER FEES???
EASY WAY TO EARN MONEY TOWARD LACROSSE FEES
The way that the Kroger Cares program works is as follows:
Purchase a Kroger gift card that is tied to the team account from me for $5. The card is preloaded with $5. Just call or email me and I can send requested cards with Elizabeth to school or I will have them for purchase at our parent meeting.
When you go to Krogers to buy groceries, before your order has started to scan, tell the clerk that you need to put money on your Kroger cares gift card. (You can do this at the service desk or at the register.) It doesn't cost you anything because you are going to spend the money anyway and you receive 4% back toward your fees.
You can put any amount on your card. However, I must warn you that the card should be treated like cash. It is non-refundable if lost. If the strip is bad and can't be read, the clerk can manually type in the card number (but you must have the card to do this). Kroger cannot transfer the balance to another card but it is my understanding that you can purchase a new card from us (tied to our team account) and then use an old card to pay for the upload on the new card. (Slide the card thru the machine just like a debit card.)
If you let your balance stay at zero for two monthly fiscal cycles (about mid-month to mid-month) then the card is no longer tied to our team account. You would have to purchase a new card from the team to begin earning rewards again.
There is no limit to how many cards you can have in your name. Buy one for your college student, buy one for grandparents, give as gifts to paperboy, teachers, hairdresser, donate to charity, etc. The cards can be reloaded at any Kroger's store nationwide. The cards can be used for groceries, in the pharmacy and at the gas pumps! It adds up fast!!!
