Each player will receive a credit in the amount of 50% of each ad sold on his/her behalf, which can add up in a huge hurry toward underwriting your soccer costs. You should consider selling to your dentist, orthodontist, favorite fast food restaurant, etc. With more than 30 teams, 500 players, and a dozen communities represented, be sure to tell your potential advertisers they are getting great VALUE for supporting their favorite Ranger player!

Rangers Offers Summer Training Through CSA

Erwin van Elst, DOC of the Rangers SC and director of CSA, will direct the various camps. This year CSA offers a variety of camps including the always popular finishing and shooting camp.
New for this year is the pre-season conditioning camp where players improve their soccer specific conditioning through soccer drills, all with the ball!
The Technical Championship Series is unique in its design and purpose. Players are encouraged to display their creativity on the field. It is all about the player and the ball and teaches the players the use of certain skills in a dynamic and fun setting. At the end of the week one player per age-group will be crowned Technical Champion and receive a trophy. For more information visit CSA at the web www.creativesocceracademy.com.

The Rangers are looking for a part time club administrator. This position will answer to the Rangers board of directors with the primary responsibility being to help facilitate the activities of the board and the Director of Coaching. Daily activities will include but, are not limited to… phone work, emailing, scheduling, club email notifications, website maintenance, working with training facilities, paperwork processing, worksheet development…….and more. It is anticipated that this will be a 10-15 hour per week commitment but, demands all day/evening availability. Skills required will include excellent communication skills, intermediate computer skills (word, excel, email, website). This is a paid position.

Rangers Select & Premier Club Camp - Boys July. 27-30 & Girls Aug. 3-6
|

|
The boys camp will be held July 27 (Monday) to July 30 (Thursday) and the girls camp will be from August 3 (Monday) August 6 (Thursday) from 6PM to 8PM each night. Training will be held at the Rangers 28th Ave. Soccer Complex.
Each camp will start with the Coerver method. Players will work individual and in small groups to improve ball control. The 1 vs 1 aspect of the game will be addressed through a variety of "competitive" games and each player will have a tremendous opportunity to "master" the ball. Every player will be forced to make decisions by themselves which results to a better understanding of their strength and weaknesses. Next, they will focus on position play. The use of space, resistance, numbers up or down, weak side runs, speed of play, etc will be taught to the participants. Many of these activities are in a competitive setting. Finally, they will play games putting into practice what they have just learned.
The cost of the club camp is included in the fees of all Fall & Spring players! Fall Only and Spring Only players may participate for $25 (pay online or on the 1st day of the camp via cash or checks payable to the Rangers Soccer Club).

The Junior Rangers Developmental Program
|

The Junior Rangers Soccer Club has been created to introduce soccer to children from age 5 through U10. We see the younger soccer player as the foundation to the continued growth and success of soccer in West Michigan. Our goal is to prepare children for competitive soccer which will begin when they reach the age of 8 or 9, and to instill in them a passion and love for the game.
There are no tryouts and players may join at any time!
If your child joins part way into the season, the cost will be pro-rated.
