Parents are going to ludicrous lengths to take the bumps out of life for their children. However, parental hyperconcern has the net effect of making kids more fragile; that may be why they're breaking down in record numbers.

Each year about 300,000 sports-related traumatic brain injuries occur in our country, and most can be classified as concussions. Concussions can occur in any sport, and all are serious injuries. Click on the link above to download documents from the Dept. of Health and Human services, provided for parents and athletes to learn about concussions and to help determine if you may have incurred a concussion.

Injury Prevention Fitness Program Info
        
                

The WFC Rangers Board of Directors has embraced a leg/knee fitness injury prevention program consisting of specific stretching and balancing exercises. These exercises can be done in a few minutes, before, during or after soccer training, and should be included as part of a daily athletic health maintenance program. Please contact the Ranger Girls VP Scott Tarleton for information about exercises and equipment used in this important program.
